Maha Dana event at Pa Auk Mawlamyine

Dear Dhamma Brothers and Sisters,

We are delighted to share that the Maha Dana event at Pa Auk Mawlamyine (Pa Auk Main) has concluded successfully. Sādhu ! Sādhu ! Sādhu !

Our most respected teacher, Pa Auk Sayadawgyi, lead the Sangha comprising of approximately 2,200 monks and nuns at the event. Numerous groups from both the local communities and over the world came together harmoniously in support of Buddha Sasana and the Triple Gems ! It is truly inspiring and wholesome ! May the pure teaching of the Buddha continue to flourish and maintain its strong presence in the whole Cakkavala for a long time !

Pa Auk Tawya Vipassana Dhura Hermitage at the United States (PATVDH USA) was one of the groups presented at the event. A total of 13 brothers and sisters took part in the offering. This year, the offered items are the skin cream, multivitamin, and a precious supplement. The supplement was arranged specifically for the 40+ Maha Therā (senior members of the Sangha) in the Pa Auk lineage whose health is not so well or in critical conditions. As a token of our deep gratitude towards the Sangha, may the offering bring much health to the Maha Therā and may they continue to lead so many onto the Path of Purification ! We pay most tribute to the Maha Therā for their dedication, preservation, and propagation of pure Dhamma in Myanmar and abroad.

Maha Sadhu to all the Donors that have contributed towards this auspicious event & made it happen ! You have accrued much great merits in support of the Pa Auk Sangha, Pa Auk Tawya and the Buddha Sasana ! Sādhu ! Sādhu ! Sādhu ! All the wholesome deeds will support you in your Dhamma path & be well, happy & peaceful.

Following are the PHOTO & VIDEO LINKS for the wholesome events

May all merits go toward the sustenance of Buddha Sasana and the preservation of Buddha’s teaching!

The group would also like to share all merits with you and your family. May you be well & happy and continue to progress most firmly on the Path of Dhamma!

A Donor’s Guide on “How To Fulfill Your Purest Dāna Parami”

Dāna, the act of giving, is a very fundamental merit according to the Buddha’s Teaching if we perform it with the purest Cetanā (intention) in accordance to Dhamma.

It is important that Donors know the Dhamma involved in dāna in order to produce the best merit. This Donor’s Guide is given for the benefit of Donors who wish to fulfill dāna parami to the purest degree.

We wish all donors who come to join the good deeds in PATVDH are to fulfill the best quality of all good deeds, whether it is the Dhamma dāna, material dāna, or contribution in the form of service.

Dāna is only one of the many helpful and relevant conditions affecting a person’s readiness to receive Dhamma only, being the contribution of his selflessness, detachment, loving-kindness and other wholesome and noble qualities cultivated throughout his pure dāna to his Dhamma practice.
